AMIGA 1200+

Developer: Amiga Technologies
Year of Announcement: 1996

The A1200+, according to the January 1996 edition of Amiga Computing, was an official system to be released by Amiga Technologies during May 1996. The magazine claimed that it consisted of an upgraded A1200 that utilized a 68030 Coldfire processor running at 40MHz. Standard 72 pin simm sockets would also be included on the board.

This project quickly morphed into the Walker project, that was first demonstrated during May 1996.
