Can I buy a graphics card for the A1200?

It is possible to plug a graphics card into the A1200. You will, however, need to expand your Amiga, through buying a Zorro breakout board. These retail at £100 UKP for one slot, or £180UKP for several. These will allow Zorro II graphics cards to be installed, such as popular Picasso IV and CyberVision. Alternatively, Phase 5 have announced they will be releasing a graphics card, titled "BlizzardVision", for their brand of PowerPC boards. These plug directly into the accelerator slot and will use the Permedia 2 chipset. This means they will be faster than the Zorro-based variety.
