A1200 Computer Combat bundles

Computer Combat

Developer: Commodore UK
Year of sale: Spring 1994
Price: £399

One of several Commodore UK bundles that persuaded hundreds of people to buy an Amiga in the Spring of 1994, just before Commodore International went bust. For the writer, it included  the word processor Wordworth v2, WordWorth Print Manager, Day by Day Planner, and for the artist it had the brilliant Personal Paint V4. The game selection was slightly disappointing though. Of the three titles -  Total Carnage, Brian the lion and Zool 2 - only Zool 2 was worth the money.

The bundle was available with a number of hard drive options in the form of the internal 2.5-inch IDE hard drive. The chart below shows the configurations that were available. Of particular note, the bundle was one of the few latter day Amigas that did not ship with Deluxe Paint.

Memory (Mb)  Hard Drive Size (Mb) Price (UKP)
2 0 349
2 80 499
2 127 549
2 200 599
2 340 749
