I am about to buy an Ateo tower and an Eyetech EZ Tower case. Will this combination work as expected?

No, the EZ Tower is designed for Zorro breakout boards whereas the Ateo expects the custom Ateo tower case. It is possible to place the Ateo in a tower such as this but you would have to do a bit of DIY to extend the output from the Ateo card to the back of the tower. If you want an A1200 with Ateo board, buy a Ateo tower. It will save time in the long run.
