Commodore Rumour Mill

Commodore are renowned for their "security problems" that allowed almost every single Amiga magazine to find out about the latest Amiga's even before the staff did. Who could forget Commodores denial of the existence of the A3000 30 minutes before it was launched? When news of a new Amiga slipped out it went under a number of different titles in the press. Here is a list of just a few:

Early Title: Released as: Comments
AC-DC- the Amiga Compact Disk Console CDTV
Amiga 300 Amiga 600 Early press speculation suggested it was dubbed the A550
Amiga 800/900 A1200 (maybe)
A1300 Mind Walker A1300 described the first stage in the Walker development process- an upgraded A1200 system.
A7000 Power Amiga A rumour started by CU Amiga.

The Amiga's with no name

These rumours were started in a PC magazine after Commodore went into liquidation. There is probably no truth to the story but they are preserved here for posterity. An AGA based A600- An 1mb A600 with the AGA chipset. An A4000 with a 486 processor and an Amiga on a card.
