Font Preferences

The Font preferences allows the user to set the font used by different areas of the operating system. By default these are set to Topaz, a font that is universally hated. By clicking on one of three buttons a font requester will appear listing all of the fonts currently listed in the FONTS directory.

Workbench Icon Text
As the name suggests, selecting this will allow you to choose the font that is displayed below icons. It is also possible to set the colour of these fonts as well as the foreground and background.

System Default Text
Alters the default font used.

Screen Text
The screen text allows the font used by most standard menus, title bars, and requesters in the operating system.

To test these preferences without saving them select the USE button. Once you are happy with these settings click on SAVE. If however you want to return to the fonts currently being used without changing anything select CANCEL.
