Can I attach a parallel port Zip drive to my Amiga?

The Zip drive takes power from the parallel port in a way that the Amiga does not support as standard. It is possible to use one by using a hardware hack found on Aminet in ftp://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/hard/hack/ppazip.lha. If you do not fancy creating the device yourself, BlitterSoft sell ready made parallel zip adapters. Whilst I have not seen these, I believe they plug into the parallel port and the joystick port. These retail for around £19.95. The next thing to do is create a mountlist for the Zip drive. A sample one can be found here.
