Can I use Photo CDs on my Amiga?

PhotoCD discs can be read by most filing systems, with many offering support of some kind. The Archos Zappo drive comes with a program called "Carrousel" that allows images to be viewed through selection of the appropriate thumbnail. AsimCDFS goes one step further, offering transparent conversion from PhotoCD to IFF24. It supports resolutions up to 3028x2048. The conversion is done transparently by the filesystem, so all of your IFF24 applications are now PhotoCD enabled. There are also a number of freeware alternatives such as PCD, which can be found on Aminet.
