Is the AmigaOS a real time OS?

Dave Haynie, one of the original Amiga creators has stated that the AmigaOS could have been described as real time but there was no advantage in doing this at the time. he states that the main disadvantage of stating it is a real time OS is that you need to publish the results and stick to these. As most Amiga users will know, the AmigaOS behaves as if it were in real time in extremely limited hardware specifications, meaning any published figures would be deceptive. So the answer to the question is, technically, it is not real-time.
