How can I sample directly to hard drive on my Amiga?

Sampling directly to hard drive is a brilliant function many audio editors. It allows you to save samples that are larger than the amount of free memory. The Atari ST made its mark on the music world almost just because of this feature.

The newest version of the TechnoSound Turbo sampler software could sample directly to hard disk. This was available on a past edition of Amiga Format (UK) coverdisk so you could try ordering a back issue from them. Sound Probe from HiSoft can also record directly to hard drive with just about any sampler, including suitable sound cards supported with AHI. In the UK it costs 24.95 ukp.
