TASK- The technical name for a program that is running. These tasks are being co-ordinated to make them believe they are the only program that is running.

THRESHOLD- A value used for black and white printing that decides which colours shall be printed as black and others as white according to their colour density.

TIMESTAMP- The date and time that the file was last saved, stored in the file.

TITLEBAR- The border at the top of the window or screen that displays the name of the program or directory.

TOGGLE- An option that can be altered between two options, such as ON and OFF.

TOOL- A program that runs itself, such as Multiview.

TOOL TYPE- Program preferences that are saved in the icon file and are executed when the program loads. These can be entered by selecting INFORMATION in the ICONS menu.

TOWER UNIT- A case that stands vertically rather than horizontally. These can be found in mini tower and full height varieties.

TRACTOR FEED- A mechanism for pulling continuous printer paper into a printer. Dot Matrix printers mostly use this.

TRASHCAN- A drawer that contains files to be deleted from that particular device.

TRUECOLOUR- A mode that allows millions of colours to be displayed on the screen at the same time.
