Plexuscom Internet terminal

Developer: Genesi & Plexuscom
Announced: February 14, 2003
Price: Unknown
Launch: 12 March 2003

Plexuscom

The Plexuscom deal made history, becoming the first company to license the Pegasos for sale in a niche market. The Plexuscom units will be sold in limited numbers to the Internet access and appliance market. Similar to the CDTV and Amiga MCC it is hoped the machine will appeal to the convergence market, creating a userbase by stealth. This will have a direct benefit for customers, further reducing Pegasos prices.

The hardware specifications remain the same as traditional Pegasos units, with the addition of the bplan April2 Northbridge to fix an error in the Articia chip.
