DOSDrivers

As standard the Amiga comes with a number of DOSDrivers allowing communication with other devices or tasks.

PC0/PC1
Driver to allow MS-DOS format disks to be read through the standard Workbench interface. The standard CrossDOS utility provided with WB3 only reads filenames using the 8.3 standard. Windows 95 filenames are shortened to these restrictions.

CD0 (Workbench 3.1 only)
The original CD ROM driver, as developed by Commodore after the A570 was released. Restrictive in a number of ways.

PIPE
Pipe driver allowing inter-communication between tasks.

AUX
Auxiliary serial shell driver

RAD
Recoverable RAM disk driver that can survive reboots.
