Passport 4000

Developer: Ramiga International
Available: 1994
Cost on release: £5,000

A4000 Toaster

A standard A4000 desktop computer sold with the Video Toaster 4000 card. The system specifications remain the same. In the USA this system is used to produce SCI-FI programs, such as Babylon 5, Star Trek, Jurassic Park, and more!

It was converted to the PAL system towards the latter half of 1994. At the time it was claimed to be one of the best systems for TV production, costing significantly less than a Silicon Graphics machine.
